The Active Electrode 16 switch box (ActEle16) has two 9pin d-sub connectors for connecting, and switching, up to 16 electrodes at one location. We use these for short soil direct burial cables, and for waterborne and submarine streamers of electrodes where all switching is done at one place rather than distributed. The ActEle16 box can also be used for sounding with two cable reels of exponentially spaced electrode takeouts. There are also ActEle8 and ActEle24 boxes.
