Red Dog DT Barlow’s FDEM8 is a deeper imaging FDEM tool made in South Africa. It runs on a Raspberry Pi type of board and is certainly a low cost instrument. Two persons walk with coils, one transmitting and one receiving and can image metres to tens of metres deep. Readings are taken while stopped, sweeping through a range of 8 frequencies in about 15 seconds at each location to attempt to image to different depths. Coils are separated typically by at least 10m. We have this instrument in stock, 2nd hand.
