As of January 2025 the Geonics EM31-8 is in prototyping stage. They expected it would be a highly capable soil profiling tool with a reasonable price. Instead they encountered technical challenges and suspended trading in 2026. By July 2026 their direction was not clear. Please consider the DualEM 421 as a substitute that is tried and proven and durable. We are not an agent for Geonics nor DualEM but are very capable of setting up survey options with great efficacy using our fibreglass fabrication facility in Dubbo. We can also add telemetry so we, or you, can process data collected remotely.
