The rear of HERBI-USV has an enclosure open to the water with controllable flow-through – water parameter monitoring sondes can be placed here for purposes such as run-of-river monitoring of EC and pH as is often conducted to quantify saline groundwater inflow related to features being resolved by HERBI ERT. Typically we see a conductive feature come right up into contact with a river or drain bed right where Run-of-River salt load increases are occurring.
