We do not own a Swincar but can rent one. It is thought to be a near ultimate vehicle for damping the rough travel experienced when traversing extreme Gilgai and tussock micro-relief. Problems with the Swincar are price, small possibility of intrusion of vegetation into the drivers nacelle, battery changeover, thumb-throttle operation fatigue and thumb repetitive strain injury, bulkiness problematic when mobilizing long distances. It’s extreme low centre of gravity and tilting action that smooths any rollover make it a particularly safe vehicle in even most extreme terrain.
