6 dipole floating streamer – layflat inflatable Blue Dipole-Dipole

This streamer uses a linearly spaced dipole-dipole electrodes due to request from a client. It has poor signal to noise ratio on deeper dipoles - note that when moving through water we must cope with streaming potentials, so we need higher signal than for terrestrial survey. It was used for our first irrigation canal seepage surveys successfully back in about 2003. If I recall rightly the dipoles are 5m wide.

This streamer is no longer used by us and can be supplied free with any purchase of a HERBI system.
