FDEM

We are experienced with and stock several frequency domain electromagnetic mapping tools. We also advise on cutting edge tools that may not yet be commercially available. As of January 2025 such a tool is the Geonics EM31-8 which I believe will be particularly useful once users work out how to benefit from the increased quality data it is expected to make. With quality improvements a wealth of moisture management options will open. We list many FDEM tools for which we do not receive commission, but when buying through us we expect clients will contract us to fabricate means of applying these tools. This may involve fitting to farm machinery and telemetering the data to an IoT server.
Our Wombat soil resistivity profiler performs a similar role to many of these instruments but using direct ground contact such that precisely calibrated data can be collected and robust layered modelling conducted. The Wombat is a stop-go instrument while the FDEM instruments can be used in continuously mobile applications.
